PRESENTS

MONSTER DESIGN - RATMAN. Human in a rat suit.
MONSTER INTERACTION - The final third is the rat chasing so i will say there was some of this.
MONSTER ORIGINALITY - I don't think this was anything new. Resembling a werewolf.
MONSTER FEAR FACTOR - Hard pass.

PRACTICAL EFFECTS - There were a few moments where there was some cleaver blood or tissue effects.
CGI ANIMATION - Much of the CGI was poorly concocted.
FX MAKEUP - I'm gonna acknowledge a few blood moments not being awful.

STORY - Jury has voted: having a rat man chase people in sewers can only go so far.
CHARACTERS - Hokey, lacking depth, and bordering on the comical.
DIALOGUE - Misery.

Without question, one of the worst films we have reviewed. The character of "Sarge," was hugely problematic and painful to listen to. In fact, the character environment was detrimental to the film. No fault of the actor (maybe?) but nothing within the writing of this film was noteworthy. The make-up for the lead villain was deplorable, many of the sound effects were cringeworthy (specifically with the RATMAN), and there was no real suspense. Many continuity errors.
