PRESENTS

This is a great block buster. its quick paced even if a little long and i'm a sucker for a hro who kind of panics his way through the whole adventure (tom cruise is excellent at that). The aliens were very well thought out. even though they started off with an old story and even an old idea of what thes creatures were and how they acted, they really put some thought into the mechanics of the creatures and that really helps immerse the viewer into the story. The sounds are also very cool. Really the majority ofthe effects and acton are all computer generated. there's plenty of stunts and pyrotechnics, but i dont really count thodse as practical effects. that said, the CGI looks realy nice and its because of the attention to detail. Even though the characters are a little flat, they are very believable due some nice writing and good delivery. the little girl is really obnoxious though.
