DIRECTOR STATEMENT
Jonathan Frey is a filmmaker of ill repute. His lousy content has scandalized America for scores of months, and is matched in low quality only by his challenging personality and embarrassing fashion choices. Despite pleas from friends, family, and strangers to stop, Jonathan continues to churn out films that leave audiences hissing and heaving, but only when not totally bored and checking their phones. Thus far this pursuit has only truly served to drive up his credit card debt, but he does savor the thrill of entering his credits on IMDB for projects he has overseen from script to post across a host of genres – comedy, drama, and horror.

DIRECTOR BIO
Jonathan Frey is originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, a place few people have heard of and even fewer people admit to visiting. His background is not noteworthy, but was primarily spent accruing student debt on degrees (BA Tulane University; MFA University of New Orleans) that he has yet to utilize in any profitable manner. However - despite ample self-doubt in most realms of life - Jonathan remains steadfast in his desire to write, produce, and direct films.

Outside of filmmaking, Jonathan maintains a low key/invisible profile, with few hobbies besides drinking mocktails alone while searching the internet for get rich quick schemes, with the occasional visit to the symptom checker on WebMD. This loop usually just leads to the creation of more screenplays and films that - at this point – mostly serve to support Jonathan’s dwindling sense of self, and absolve his inability to get in a “real” relationship. Fortunately, Jonathan lives near several late night food options where he can be observed eating from the “combo” menu, and watching esoteric cinema on his cracked Ipad, as he fantasizes about collaborating with others to bring his projects - and also theirs - to life.
