SYNOPSIS
At the end of their first date, Lexie tries to let Tristan down easy. Unable to handle the rejection, Tristan kidnaps Lexie to “teach her a lesson” with the help of his friends Luke and Kyle. However, their arrogance quickly wears off as they realize that they are in over their heads and they kidnapped the wrong girl. Lexie is a vampire, and she doesn’t like it when men underestimate her.
DIRECTOR STATEMENT
My name is Isabelle Rodriguez-Armijo. I'm from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and I just graduated from the University of New Mexico in May. I majored in film, and my Senior Capstone is the short film I both wrote and directed, "Bite Back." I originally started college as a Biology major going to San Diego State but decided to move back home and pursue my passion for watching and making movies. Bite Back was a really amazing and also challenging experience for me because I had never directed anything before. It was a lot of learning, listening, and sometimes compromising, but ultimately the final product is something that I will cherish for the rest of my life. This project means a lot to me because, as a woman, I was able to tell a story with a female lead that was written by and created for a woman. I was also able to combine my love of vampires and the horror comedy genre, which are stories I've always had a passion for. Thank you!
