DIRECTOR STATEMENT
Hello! My name is Ashley Mary Nunes, and I'm the writer and director of FINAL GIRLS' BLOODBATH.

FINAL GIRLS' BLOODBATH is a horror short film that explores the fear of auditioning and the reality of the casting process. As our Final Girls feel the pressure and anxiety to live up to their renowned title, their true survival skills come out when their audition takes a dark turn. But there can only be one true Final Girl.

I grew up on indie horror and have always appreciated the blood, sweat, and tears that go into making these movies. I created this film because I wanted to step in and learn all areas of filmmaking and through that process, I have grown so much more appreciation for independent filmmakers. Completing this film was a huge accomplishment.

So much passion went into this film and I couldn’t have done it alone.

I live for gore and horror.

DIRECTOR BIO
A natural born Scream Queen, Ashley Mary Nunes has worked alongside her award-winning horror screenwriter and director brother, Todd Nunes, since birth. She has appeared on stage, film, and television and can be seen in feature films such as "All Through the House" and "Beasts of the Field", the television series, "Robot Combat League" and "Salvage Marines", and featured roles on network tv-series, "Home Economics" and "New Girl". Creating and entertaining has always been in this horror goddess' blood.
