SYNOPSIS
After a traumatic loss, the stage manager of a production of Macbeth starts to experience supernatural visions.
DIRECTOR STATEMENT
Ghost Light represents what happens when we ignore and suppress our most difficult feelings and allow them to manifest in other ways. These emotions, especially grief, loneliness, and depression, have to be recognized and worked through—the longer they are suppressed, the more intrusive and frightening they become. I was also inspired by my alma mater's haunted theater in the arts building, which we were lucky enough to be able to use as one of our shooting locations for this film!
