DIRECTOR STATEMENT
My short film, "Lump the Frog," was created in my 2nd year at California Institute of the Arts. It originated as a statement piece about my experience not fitting in with my peers, but throughout the film's production, it became much more silly and wild than I intended!

DIRECTOR BIO
Tabitha (Tabs) Wekerle grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, and dreamed of pursuing storytelling and animation at a young age. She worked on creating comics and short animations throughout her primary education, and she moved to Southern California at age 18 to attend California Institute of the Arts as a major in Character Animation. She is currently telling her own unique stories through assignments, yearly films, and personal projects. Her ultimate career goal is to become a showrunner.
