SYNOPSIS

After losing their job, an amusement park mascot actor struggles to cope with their current reality.

DIRECTOR BIO
Corey is a 2D, 3D, Stop Motion animator and compositor, who grew up in New Jersey and was inspired by the more "Weird" side of animation. Creating cartoons since they were 12 years old, Corey studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design to further expand their abilities in creating wacky and weird animations for mostly big kids to enjoy.

DIRECTOR STATEMENT
Pretty Kitty is a story about the trappings of nostalgia and a cautionary tale about what happens when we let a rose tinted past define who we are in the present. Using a mixed media, "scrapbook" art style, Pretty Kitty aims to bring a sense of whimsy and horror to the audience as well as push the boundaries of what the animated medium is capable of.
