DIRECTOR STATEMENT
SK8 or DIE! was born from the required elements of the 48 Hour Film Project. We were given a genre (slasher), character (skater), prop (band aid), and line of dialogue ("I learned this secret long ago"). From thence came a marathon weekend of filmmaking that resulted in the masterpiece presented here.

DIRECTTOR BIOS
Alyssa Pearson is from small-town Nowheresville, Ohio, a background that influences her vision and sense of storytelling. Alyssa studied film for many years, receiving two degrees in the field before finally working in it. She has since worked in film production for nearly two decades as a producer, director, writer, editor, 1st AD, Art PA, and script supervisor all across the US. Alyssa currently lives and works in Pittsburgh, PA with her son, where she makes weird crafts and horror shorts after baby-bedtime.

Scot Gordon is a man in his 40s. He grunts when he gets up.
