DIRECTOR STATEMENT
“The Wellness Check” carries a sense of dread throughout and is an ultimate slow burn. The thought process behind it was creating a character who was incapacitated from the start and then being thrown into a very real situation, with a twist. This short means a lot because it’s nothing but family in this film. Brothers and nephews made this short what it is, and we couldn’t be prouder of it.

DIRECTOR BIO
Brandon White and Zack White are independent filmmakers from Bangor Maine. The Brothers have been filming their own YouTube series “GreenWitch” since 2020. Their inspirations include Rod Serling, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, Bo Burnham, Quentin Tarantino and Jordan Peele. The brothers run a very lax, jokey set but ultimately want to make the best product they can.
