DIRECTOR STATEMENT
"Tucked In" is about a teenage girl struggling in life and as a girl dad I know that is a father's nightmare - one of the many we have. The story originally was a one page, one minute script written during COVID in an online screenwriters group for micro shorts. It sat idly on my hard drive for nearly 3 years until it kind of begged to be made and it turned into something a little longer.

Lar (Larry) Collicott is a Technical Account Manager and software observability champion by day, but when the sun goes down he is a genre writer and filmmaker from Fredericton, NB. His short films reflect his love of thought provoking stories about revenge, monsters and villains which he strives to hold up as a mirror for audiences. In Lar's world the bad guys aren't always bad and the good guys aren't always good, but the monsters are always a little real.
