MONSTER DESIGN: I felt like the zombies were generically well done

MONSTER INTERACTION: Lots of teeing off on zombie skulls but predictable.

MONSTER ORIGINALITY: Generic Zombies. I did appreciate their organized attacks.

MONSTER FEAR FACTOR: A couple of strong zombie facial features.

PRACTICAL EFFECTS: A couple cool stunts! Enjoyed the drone sequences.

CGI/ANIMATION: Not a lot to write home about.

FX MAKEUP: Although the zombies were generic, they were done well!

STORY: I wish the zombies had a stronger set of differences from other zombie flicks.

CHARACTERS: I appreciated the third survivor they found.

DIALOGUE: Again, nothing super special. I don't feel like it dipped too deep into romance.

I found this to be a middle of the road zombie movie. I wanted a bit more action and a bit more interesting zombie traits. A couple of cool moments of zombie interactions allowed for the isolations to feel earned... to a point. The film desperately needed some quirky zombie trait but the make-up was wonderfully done and the zombie's physical appearances were fun to watch. Do the deadbolts in anyone's apartments work anymore? Can you ration food a bit smarter? Is a golf club really the best choice?
