SYNOPSIS
A couples' therapist has a difficult talk with her reluctant patient, who starts sharing some uncomfortable truths about his relationship that is quite (para)normal.
At the end of some coaching and a lot of self-pity a twist reveals the silent and better half of this couple.
DIRECTOR STATEMENT
I still wonder why we keep wanting to change our partners, certain details and routines in our relationships. Even after decades... as if then we'd magically be content and all of sudden nothing'd be bothersome anymore. I know I am guilty of that shit. Gladly therapy helped me to realize some of these things.
The film should show the darkness of a clinical pragmatic person presenting himself as the victim, as the troubled party. In continuously doing so he ultimately becomes the true toxic monster. At least he does for me.
Oh, and I really just wanted to create a CG-creature that could be related to Cthulhu.
