PRESENTS

Maybe it would have been watchable if they hadn't put the main scary man in a god damned Henley. It's a dude in a cloak with some hackneyed scarring makeup that they didn't feel like continuing past his collar bone so they decided to just button all the way to the top. The hell hound is another whiffed opportunity. Instead of something actually terrifying, something that gets close to what you are imagining when you see those glowing, beady eyes in the dark closet, you get, instead, a large, hairless mole rat that 'plat' plat' plat's across the frame like a lazy over fed cat. the acting was shitty the writing was worse. it's watchable only because someone involved in the production had money or rather knew someone with some. If they had just put a tiny bit more thought into any aspect of this story it might have pulled it out of the garbage bin, but they didn't. Instead they did their best to steal some contrived scare tactics that were succesful in other half way descent movies.
