PRESENTS

I tried hard to be critcal of this movie, but i've realized now, after my fourth, fifth, maybe sixth watch, that Deep Blue Sea is my favorite movie fo all time. I love the structure. I love the dialogue thats a little corny, but also full of little bits of sciency explanations and foreshadowing hints. I love the simplicity of it, the pacing. I love that in the end it's the two characters you really want to see left standing. The effects look great. The cgi is clunky even for the late 90's, but they nailed it on the robotics. These are robo sharks even spielberg would be proud of. Just an excellent movie through and through. And no suprise it's from 1999, the greatest year in history for movies.
