PRESENTS

Scary? Yes. There's a bunch of really freaking cool looking monsters and creatures and undead and countless other wierd shit, hell there's even some of the 'Mummy' scarabs in there, but that's also the problem. All these cool looking creatures that have no throughline. It feels like they're all here cause somebody said 'hey, you know what would look creepy?". Parts of the story are nice, but most of the story is just confusing and another part of it is just never explained all together. Maybe things are written out a little better in the video game, but in the movie, the audience is left with a whole bunch of unanswered questions. The acting is allright, but the writing is bunk. The gore is gruesome and fun to watch, but none of it is rteally earned. Might as well just watch a horror picture compilation.
