Like a shudder movie, the effects are pretty good - CGI, practical and FX Makeup. The problem is every other element of story telling falls way short. The pacing is off. The characters are bland. Also, the witches design is pretty bland. The make up is nice, high quality, but the design is just so hackneyed.
