A Brooklyn man, in the process of leaving his Hasidic Jewish community and mourning the tragic death of his child brother, takes a job sitting vigil for an old women and her deceased husband. When he becomes plagued by imagery of a terrifying beast he realizes escorting the dead to a peaceful afterlife isn't just a religious sentiment.
